Crystal Lotus is the Chinese restaurant at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. It features cuisine from the four major culinary regions of China: Sichuan, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong. The price is not cheap, comparable to Chinese restaurants to other 5 stars hotels in Hong Kong. However, the quality of the food was very good and the service and decor were first class too. If you are an annual pass holder, you can get a 20% discount off the bill.

Hi Mr. Lim,
I really liked this series a lot. The food look delicious (must be the photographer). The decoration look very elegant. Truly a fine set of wonderful storytelling of this wonderful but expensive restaurant. Beautifully done. Love it!!
P.s., My favourite is the Mickey Mouse dish. =p
Mr. Lim!
Wow! The clarity is phenomenal. I really love your consistency with each shot. The tonal balance is so good and the placement of the dishes are logical.
Did you make the sublimal “Mickey” shapes? Creative, indeed!
roland, it sure seems you love food! nice work. i am curious: what lens do you use for most of your food shots? cheers!
Hi Jesse,
Thanks! I used the Canon EF 50mm f1.4 for all the food shots here. This is my new favorite lens for food shots. All my recent food shot were done with this lens.
