Canon Hong Kong has officially lowered the price for the 5D Mark II in Hong Kong. The street price for the body at Echo Photo & Audio is HK$16,500 and the kit price is HK$23,500.
Incidentally, the street price of the Canon EOS 7D has down done a little bit as well. Wow, that looks to be $2125 USD! They are currently going for $2450 USD at the major retailers, I’d probably pick up another if they dropped to 2125.
Wow, this translates to just under $3000 Singapore dollars. Here, it is still about $3750. Hope the price adjustments come to Singapore too
Actually, it’s retailing at around $3400 in most of the major outlet already.
Hmm, yeah I bought the 7D body for 12100 HKD just a few weeks ago, but back then the 5d was still 19500HKD.. But now I wonder if I should have waited, and gone with the 5D.. ?!? I guess I’ll just have to see what happens could always sell the 7d and buy a 5d, but would it be worth it? hmm
