How High a Resolution is 21.1 Megapixels?

If you look at the 2 shots above, you may think that they are just some macro shots showing good details. However, those are not macros shots at all. Both were shot with Canon EOS 5D Mark II with EF 50mm f/1.4 USM at ISO 100. They are 100% crops  with no post-processing done. The amount of detail at 100% is simple amazing and can easily be used for the web at least. There should be no problem with making small size prints with 100% crops either.
