It has been awhile since I last posted any new articles on my blog as I have been rather busy lately. Anyway, I went to the Hong Kong Computer & Communications Festival 2011 last weekend. There were lots of promo girls as usual. I did not go to the fair last year and I have not really taken any photos from the fair for the last couple of years. I did take some photos this year. Although there were always lots of promo girls at the fair, but the condition has always been less than ideal, with a multitude of different light sources with different white balance at the venue. The fair was always crowded with many people and most promo girls were surrounded by 20 or more photographers. I think it is always a challenge to take photos at the fair and it was always a good chance to practice and improve one’s skill and technique at this event. I believe if you can take photos with good result from this venue, then it will help you take take good photos in adverse conditions.
All photos were taken with Canon EOS 5 D Mark II with Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM and EF 85mm f/1.8 USM, Canon 580EX with Lightsphere II. All photos were shot in RAW and converted to TIFF with Capture One Pro and further processing with Photoshop CS5.
Wow, amazing. Oh, very nice images also.
